Gifts from Gwyn is sponsoring its 9th annual 5K and 1 mile fun walk on Sunday November 9 at 9:30 am. This professionally timed 5K run will travel through beautiful Falls Township Community Park. Every runner/walker that signs up by October 19 is guaranteed a Gifts from Gwyn t-shirt and wristband. Additional shirts will be available while supplies last. Proceeds support Gifts from Gwyn, a 501(c) (3) non-profit foundation created by Gwyn’s family and friends to keep her memory alive for years to come by giving back to the local community.
There will be awards for the top male and female finishers. Awards will also be presented to the top three male and three female finishers in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+. You must be present to accept your award. No awards will be mailed.
You won’t want to miss this year’s event, as we will have something for everyone. There will be multiple door prizes and refreshments available to all participants. There will be raffles for Flyer’s tickets, restaurant gift cards, gym memberships, a basket of cheer and many more! It will be a great time for the whole family.

Registration fee is $30.00 for all runners and walkers registered by November 6. Registration fee is $35.00 for all runners and Fun Walk Participants registering the day of race. Online registration closes Thursday, November 6 at midnight. Online registration is preferred. All major credit cards are accepted.
For the past nine years, Gifts from Gwyn has given several scholarships in Gwyn’s name. We have also made donations to the local homeless shelter, provided cash assistance to several families in need at Christmas, financially supported a few families dealing with serious health issues and financially supported Simon’s Heart for heart testing. This year, in addition, we purchased a mobile AED for the local high school sports programs and we are giving additional scholarships to three young boys who lost their mother to a horrible train accident.
