Supporting cancer care in our community

Posted

At the Ivins Outreach Center, we are committed to supporting community members and families affected by cancer. Through our Cancer Care program, we provide vital services, including transportation to treatment, meal support, and companionship, helping to ease the burden for individuals navigating their cancer journey.

As the demand for these services increases, volunteers are crucial. Whether it’s driving someone to a medical appointment, preparing a meal, or simply being a supportive presence, volunteers make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. If you are looking for a way to give back to your community, we encourage you to consider becoming a Cancer Care volunteer. Just a few hours of your time can have a lasting impact.

In addition, Ivins Outreach Center is proud to host a Mobile Mammogram Clinic in partnership with Penn Medicine on Friday, October 10 from 10 am to 3 pm. Screenings will be available for individuals with or without insurance, ensuring everyone has access to this life saving service. We invite community members, family, friends and loved ones to this event. Early detection saves lives, and together, we can make a difference!
