On Saturday December 13, Bolton Mansion will be hosting its 2nd Annual Historic Holiday tour partnering this year with Historic Fallsington and Historic Summerseat.  The historic sites will all open at 2 pm, and for the price of one ticket you can enjoy the holiday sights and sounds of bygone eras at your leisure.  Choose which site you wish to visit first.  Historic Fallsington and Historic Summerseat will be open from 2 to 5 pm and Bolton Mansion will be open until 7 pm.

At Bolton Mansion, lumineres will guide you to the entrance, each room will be basked in candlelight and decorated in the fashion of the century the room was built. The mansion represents three centuries!  Live harp music by harpist Laura Dishong will fill the air in the parlor, historic holiday foods will be displayed in the dining room, the gift shop will be open, and holiday cookies for sale.  Your last stop will be the 17th century kitchen where you will end your visit with a sample of chocolate.

At Historic Fallsington, the tour includes visiting the Moon-Williamson Log House, the Stagecoach Tavern, and the Burgess Lippincott House as you learn how Christmas was celebrated in the past and showcasing trees decorated from local groups.

At Historic Summerseat, you will experience an historic 18th century manor house decorated for the holidays and a visit with General George Washington and Martha, enjoy live colonial music, mulled cider and Christmas treats.

All this for the price of one ticket:  $30 for adults, $15 for youth (3 to 17) and under three free.  Purchase tickets on line at: boltonmansion.org/event/historic-holiday-tour-2025/.  For more information please contact secretary@boltonmansion.org.
