For nearly a century, Charlann Farms has been a cornerstone of the Yardley community. Founded in 1929 by Charles and Ann Stewart—whose names inspired the farm’s name—the family farm began as a dairy operation before transitioning to fruits and vegetables. Today, fourth & fifth generation farmers Sam Stewart Jr. and his nephew Tim Stewart proudly carry on the legacy of farming throughout Bucks County. Other family members and long-time employees make up the small team of people managing the farmstand, field operations and events.
Our small, sixth-generation family farm grows a wide variety of produce, including sweet corn, tomatoes, zucchini, peppers, eggplant, cantaloupe, watermelon, pumpkins, and more! Much of the harvest is sold directly at the on-site farmstand, open daily from 10 am to 6 pm, where visitors can also find other locally sourced goods. Charlann Farms also supplies wholesale crops to area supermarkets, keeping their fresh produce on family tables across the region.
This season, the farmstand has transformed into an autumn wonderland. Visitors can browse an abundant selection of field pumpkins, specialty pumpkins, jack-be-littles, gourds, cornstalks, and other festive décor. Fall favorites like apple cider donuts and refreshing apple cider slushies round out the experience, making the farmstand a must-visit stop.
In 2018, Charlann Farms expanded its offerings with a Fall Festival designed to welcome families onto the farm. The festival features a corn maze, straw maze, jump pad, corn pit, barrel cart rides, and hayrides to a pick-your-own pumpkin patch. Each year, the festival grows in popularity, inspiring the Stewart Family to add new events and activities every year. Their goal is simple yet meaningful: to create a boutique farm experience that celebrates family, tradition, and community.
